【国際コース1年】台湾中学校とのオンライン交流イベント

Chukyo to the World

On Friday the 10th June, 12 1J students, from the International Course, took part in an online Google Meet talk with our friends from Nangang Junior high school in Taiwan. 23 of their students and 3 of their teachers took part. Chukyo students led the conversations taking the initiative to find out about school and home life in Taiwan, as well as what young people like to do in their free time. We had 5 small groups talking online using their iPads. The Chukyo students said they really enjoyed it. They not only got chance to use their super English skills, but also learnt how to explain Japanese food and culture to foreign students. It was a lot of fun.

6/10(金)に、国際コース１年生の生徒たちが、台湾の南港中学校の生徒たち23人とオンラインで5グループに分かれての交流イベントに参加しました。中京生たちが会話をリードして、台湾での学校や日常生活について会話をしていました。中京生たちからは「すごく楽しかった！」など、ポジティブな感想が聞こえてきました。日本食やその他文化について英語で説明する素晴らしい機会にもなったので、次回開催を待ち望む声も聞こえてきました！
