【国際コース1,2年】New York Online

On Saturday 15th October 30 students from the 1st and 2nd grade International Course classes had the chance to talk with 20 students from our sister school Forest Hills in New York City. We made 8 online groups and the students could enjoy speaking to each other in English and Japanese. The New York students all study Japanese. This was our 3rd online event this year and the Chukyo students really enjoyed it and didn't want it to end. They talked about a whole range of topics from Halloween to school life, music, culture and more. These events are so good as the students can really try out the English they have been learning in class and see the progress they have been making.

10月15日(土)に国際コース1,2年生30名がニューヨークの海外姉妹校であるForest Hills 高校の生徒たち20名とオンライン交流をしました！

Forest Hills 高校の生徒たちは日本語を勉強しているため、お互いに勉強になるように日本語と英語両方をバランスよく使いながら、ハロウィーンやそれぞれの文化など幅広いトピックについて話をしました。

このイベントも今年度3回目となりましたが、国際コースの生徒たちは普段学んでいる英語を実践的に使うことができ、また自身の成長を感じられる良い機会になっています。海外姉妹校との交流は、これからもまだまだ続きます！

もっともっと世界へ羽ばたけ、中京生！！
