【国際コース2年】JICA中部、訪問！

JICA Trip Report
On the 26th May, all the International Students from 2J took an afternoon trip to JICA, by Nagoya Station. We learnt about the valuable work they do helping people in developing countries. JICA help in numerous ways, such as, education, healthcare, providing clean water, giving food and tackling environmental problems. They also assist in natural disasters.
We also met volunteers who had worked for JICA overseas and they explained about their experiences.
2J students felt inspired to make a difference in the world.

2023年5月26日（金）に国際コース2年生がJICA中部を訪問しました。施設見学を通してJICAの環境への取り組みを知り、様々な国での教育や貧困をめぐる問題を学びました。また、JICAの方の途上国での実際の経験を聞く機会もあり、日本がどのように国際協力に携わっているのか、国際協力の現場を身近に感じるとても貴重な機会となりました。生徒たちも「これまで知らなかった国際協力のことを知る良い機会となった。」「将来、私も国際協力に携わってみたいと思った。」「これまであまり知らなかった中東の国のことを知り、自分がこれまで先入観でイメージを持っていることに気づいた。」など、とてもポジティブな感想をたくさん寄せてくれました。日頃学んでいる英語や社会の知識が世界と繋がるという経験ができたのではないでしょうか。Chukyo to the World!
