【国際コース】2年生、トルコの高校生との文通交流続く！

On April 18th, we received letters from a school in Turkey, with whom we started a pen pal exchange program last school year, addressed to our second-year international course students! The students are from Mustafa Doğan Anadolu Lisesi, a school located in Erzinjan City, Erzinjan Province (population of about 100,000) in eastern Turkey. The second-year students of the International Course have been exchanging correspondence since the fall of last school year, and as they exchange letters over and over again, they have grown closer to each other, gradually becoming friends by sending each other not only letters but also small gifts. This time again, various items such as Turkish tea, coffee, stickers, and various goods were enclosed with the letters, and the students' eyes lit up at the wonderful gifts, which are hard to find in Japan. The exchange of correspondence will continue in the future, and we hope that this initiative will further strengthen the bonds between young people from distant countries.

Chukyo to the world!

4月18日、昨年度に文通交流を始めたトルコの学校から本校の2年生国際コース生徒に向けた手紙が届きました！相手はトルコ東部のエルジンジャン県エルジンジャン市（人口約10万人）に所在するMustafa Doğan Anadolu Lisesiという学校に通う生徒たちです。国際コースの2年生は昨年度の秋から文通交流を続けており、何度も決まった相手と手紙のやり取りをする中で相手との距離が縮まり、だんだん手紙だけではなくちょっとした贈り物も送り合う仲になってきました。今回も、トルコのお茶やコーヒー、ステッカーや雑貨など様々なものが手紙と一緒に同封されており、日本ではなかなか手に入らない素敵な贈り物に生徒たちは目を輝かせていました。今後もこの文通交流は続けることになっており、この取組を通じて遠く離れた国同士の若者たちの絆がさらに深まっていくことを願っています。
