【国際教育】"グローバル・サマー・レッスン Power in Me"実施！

　7月21日と22日の2日間、中京大学附属中京高等学校の生徒たちが「グローバル・サマー・レッスン Power in Me」と呼ばれる国際交流プログラムに参加しました。参加したのは国際コースの1年生35名と、その他全校生徒に呼びかけて希望した1年生から3年生16名の合計51名です。今年度は中京大学名古屋キャンパスにあるC-HUBという施設でこのプログラムが行われ、英語を練習したり世界について学んだりするための多くのアクティビティを行いました。

　この2日間で、中京高校の生徒たちは世界各国から来た"バディ"と小グループを作り、コミュニケーションやチームワークに重点を置いた楽しく実践的なアクティビティに参加したり、バディの母国について学んだりしました。2日目には、生徒たちはバディと一緒に栄でのフィールドワークに出かけ、バディの母国に関連するアイテムを探すなど、フォトラリー（写真撮影チャレンジ）に挑戦しました。一緒にランチを楽しみながら、名古屋や日本についての話題を共有したりして、バディとの仲を深めながらお互いをより深く知る良い機会になったようです。

　 「グローバル・サマー・レッスン Power in Me」は夏休みに実施しているイベントで、毎年大好評を博しています。中京高校の生徒たちは、英語に対するより強い自信、素晴らしい思い出、そして新しい世界中の友人を得てイベントを締めくくり、今年度も大成功を収めました。

　On July 21st and 22nd, Chukyo High School students participated in an exciting two-day event called "Global Summer Lesson Power in Me". International students joined our students at Chukyo University for many activities to practice English and learn about the world.

　Over the two days, Chukyo students formed small groups with international students from different countries to participate in fun activities focused on communication and teamwork. Chukyo students also had the opportunity to learn about their buddies' home countries. On the second day, Chukyo students took their international buddies to Sakae, where they completed a series of photo challenges, including finding items related to their buddies' home countries. They also enjoyed lunch together and shared about Nagoya and Japan.

　"Global Summer Lesson Power in Me" is a fun event each year for our students and this year was also a huge success. The Chukyo students finished with stronger English confidence, great memories, and new global friendships.
