国際コース - 2J "Chukyo to the World"
コロナ禍においても、世界とまだまだつながっていきます！

6月7日の月曜日に、国際コース二年生（2J）は台湾の中学生と交流できました。ビデオ通話（会議）アプリの「Google Meet」を用いて、新北市にある「Yonghe 中学校」とイベントを行ったのです。テーマは「紹介」。6つのグループに分かれて、2Jの生徒たちが日本や名古屋、中京大中京高校のことや日本の伝統・文化について紹介しました。結果は大成功！一生懸命準備した結果がでましたね。英語でとてもはっきりと伝えることができました。
対して台湾の中学生たちは、地元の街、生活のことや学校についてなどを紹介してくれました。お互いの国や文化・生活様式について理解する素晴らしい機会になりました。他国の人と英語でコミュニケーションをとる素晴らしい機会でもあり、良い経験になりましたね！
台湾の先生がこう言ってくれました。「あなたの生徒たちってサイコー！」

今後も国際コースの活動を一緒に見守ってくださいね！

Chukyo to the World!!

Even during Coronavirus, we are still connecting with the World around us.

2J Monday 7th June

Students in 2J had the chance to meet and talk to students from Taiwan. We had a "Google Meet" event with "Yonghe Junior High School" in New Taipei City. Our topic was Introductions. We had 6 groups. 2J students "taught" our new friends about Japan, Nagoya, Chukyo High school as well as Japanese traditions and culture. It was a great success. 2J students prepared so hard. And spoke so clearly in English.
In return our new friends in Taiwan introduced us to their home city, their life, school and more. It was a great chance to learn a little about each other's countries, cultures, lifestyles and to use English to communicate with each other.
The teacher in Taiwan told me- "Your students are awesome!"
