【国際コース】Chukyo University and Chukyo High School Zoom Event

Chukyo is like one big happy family, we have great connections between the university and the high school, even during the virus.
Today we connected with 2 students from the University who are studying English and who wanted to present to our English Course students in 1J and 2J. This is the 3rd year to do this event and each year it gets better and better.

We had 2 presenters who talked to both 1J and 2J for 25 minutes each.

Sayaka Sodeyama In the 3rd year at university studying English.
She talked about "How to Improve your English Skills" and "The Benefits of Learning English." Sayaka shared her advise and tips, such as watching English movies many times, some websites she uses to study from and how English songs have helped her improve her English.

Miyu Kanayama- An OG from our School in the 3rd year at university studying English. Miyu was in our English Course when you was a high school student.
She talked about "My Overseas Experiences" and "My Online Overseas Study Plan." Miyu talked about her adventures abroad, her regrets abroad and the lessons she learnt from her trips. She gave the students some really useful ideas about how to make trips overseas a success. She also spoke about a new and exciting event- studying "overseas" in Canada, but Online!!!

7月9日（金）に国際コース1・2年生の生徒たちが中京大学国際学部の先輩たちの英語プレゼンテーションを聞きました。附属校である本校は中京大学との交流も多く、本イベントも今年で3年目になります！

中京大学の先輩2人が、海外留学での経験や英語力向上の方法などについてオンラインで話をしてくれました。高い英語力によるプレゼンテーションに感動し、みんな真剣に聞き入っていました。

「先輩たちみたいになりたい！」「たくさんのことを学ぶことができた」「このイベントに参加できてよかった」とコメントする生徒も多く、国際コースの生徒たちにとって良い刺激になったようです。 今後もさまざまなイベントに参加し、みんなで楽しく英語力を向上させていきます！
