【国際コース】社会貢献プロジェクトLet's Make It Happen!　成果発表プレゼンテーション

 On Friday, July 16, the 2nd grade students of the International Course gave their final group presentations for their Social Contribution Project. During their 1st grade year some of the students expressed an interest in doing something to help their community as well as children living overseas. From this we created the Social Contribution Project. In small groups the students decided on a social project they would like to help solve. They deeply discussed the problem, made a plan of action to help, and carried out their plan. Some of their projects addressed the needs of school children in developing countries by collecting stationary and designing textbooks. Other projects involved helping foreign tourists who can not read Japanese signs, and collecting bottle caps and can pull tabs to purchase vaccinations for children overseas. Students had to work with various school, city, and international organizations to implement their plans.
 On July 16th the groups presented the results of their project in a PowerPoint presentation. Most of the groups were able to complete their projects and reported their results. Some groups are still working with various Japanese and international organizations to complete their plans and reported on the next steps they will take. Through their presentations you could appreciate the thought and work the students put into their projects to make them successful.

7月16日（金）に２年国際コースの生徒たちが社会貢献プロジェクトLet's Make It Happen!の成果発表プレゼンテーションを実施しました！
「みんなで社会貢献がしたい！」という生徒たちの声から始まった本プロジェクト。貧困地域の子どもたちに教科書・文房具を送るグループやSDGsを全国の高校生に知ってもらう活動を主とするグループなど、各グループがバリエーション豊かな企画を考えました。１年３学期から半年間かけて、自分たちで計画し、あらゆる団体に自ら連絡を取って交渉し、プロジェクトを実行へと移していきました。
今回のプレゼンテーションでは、本プロジェクトを通してどのようなことを学んだのか、計画通りに進めることが出来たか、大変だった部分はどのようなところだったのかなどについて英語でプレゼンテーションをしました。「もっとこうしたらよかった」「この部分は計画通りに進めることが出来た」など、多くの学びを得られたプロジェクトとなりました。
社会貢献プロジェクトLet's Make It Happen!は、プロジェクトとしては一区切りですが、各グループが計画の完遂に向けてまだまだ取り組んでいく予定です。今後も国際コース生徒の活躍をお楽しみに...！
