【国際コース】メタバース英会話体験

English in Metaverse

Is the next big thing in English Education Virtual Reality? If it is, then as always, Chukyo is at the front of the pack. On Friday December 3rd 15 lucky volunteers from the 1st and 2nd grade International Course took part in our very first Virtual Reality English roleplay. The students got chance to meet a native teacher in the VR world of a fast food restaurant where they could try out their English skills ordering food. They could even pay for it, take it from the counter, as well as exploring the shop.
The students really enjoyed the experience and if this technology takes off Chukyo will be there as well.

メタバース英語体験

12月3日(金)に、国際コースの1年生と2年生がVR（仮想現実）世界での英会話練習に参加しました。VR世界でのファストフード店でアバターを用いてネイティブ相手に英語で注文をすることができました！VR世界で店内を散策したり商品を受け取ったりといった体験に生徒たちも大満足のようでした。
将来的にこのような技術を用いた英語教育も視野に入れていきたいですね。
