【国際コース2年】Global / Social Issues Presentations　実施！

5月25日（木）5，6限に、Project Studiesの授業の一環として2年国際コースの生徒たちが社会問題や世界の諸問題に関するプレゼンテーションを実施しました。春休みから社会問題や世界の諸問題についての研究をはじめ、授業内で意見交換をおこなったり、各諸問題の日本での状況や解決策について説明できるように調査をしてきました。

プレゼンテーションのトピックとしては、LGBTQ・ジェンダー平等・差別問題・気候変動・食糧難などそれぞれ研究テーマを選択し、研究結果を５分間の英語でのプレゼンテーションにして発表しました。
保護者の方もプレゼンテーション発表を見て、1年間での英語力の向上に驚き、感動していました。

英語を通して世界について幅広く学びながら、同時に楽しく英語を勉強していく。
そんな環境で学んでいる国際コースの生徒たちの成長はまだまだ止まりません！

2J Global/ Social Issues Presentations

2J International English Class- Project Studies. Over Spring vacation, the students started work on a special project. They had to pick a Social Issue or Global Problem. They had to explain it, share their opinion about it and explain the situation in Japan and overseas. Finally, they had to come up with some ideas about how to solve it. They picked a range of topics including- LGBTQ Issues, Gender Equality, Discrimination, SDGs, Climate Change, Food Shortages and more. They prepared slides to go along with their presentation and had to present for around 5 minutes. Many teachers and parents came to watch. The parents were very impressed with their child's English skills and could see a big improvement from before. Let's enjoy learning English, while learning about the world around us.
