Taiwan Online- Chukyo High School and New Taipei Municipal Yonghe Junior High School

On Wednesday the 24th May, English Club students enjoyed their first online event this school year with our friends in Taipei city. This is our 6th year of our friendship with the school and it was another fun event. For many Chukyo students this was their first experience talking online to Taiwanese students. English truly is an international language to make friends from around the world. Eighteen 1st graders and two second graders took part. 22 Taiwanese students joined us from their school. Students from all Chukyo courses took part in this event. We learnt about Taiwan, food, culture, schools, music and more. The Chukyo students said, "When can we do this again, it was so much fun."

2023年5月24日(水), 今年第1回目の本校英語部と台湾の新北市立永和国民中学の学生とののオンライン交流会を行いました。この中学校とは6年間交流を続けています。本校の1年生と2年生が参加し、1年生にとっては初めての台湾の学生とのオンライン交流の機会となりました。国際コースのみならず、その他のコースの生徒も参加し、台湾の食べ物や文化、学校、音楽などに触れ、英語は本当に国際語であると実感した交流会となりました。生徒たちからは是非もう一度やりたいとたくさんの声があがりました。
