Taiwan and English Club Online May 29th

Taiwan Online Wednesday 29th May 2024

We had a great experience to meet our friends in Taiwan from "New Taipei Municipal Yonghe Junior High School." English Club students had a great chance to meet online with the students in Taiwan. We have been having connections with them for the last 5 or 6 years.
It was great to see the students from both countries speaking to each other using their second language, English. English really is an international language to connect the world and make positive relationships. The students talked about their countries, homes, hobbies, schools and interests. It was fun to see all the students from both countries smiling and having fun. ,

台湾オンラインイベント　(2024年5月29日)

英語部では2024年5月29日に台湾の新北市立永和国民中学校とオンラインの交流会を行いました。数年前から同中学校との交流が続いていますが、1年生にとっては初めての交流会でした。6グループに分かれ、それぞれのグループで、お互いの国の文化について、趣味や好きなもの、など多岐にわたって話し合いました。母国語の異なる生徒同士が第2言語の英語を使って交流する機会を通して、英語を習得することによって世界中の人と交流ができると実感してもらえたと思います。
