【国際コース】Global Summer Lesson ~Power in ME ~プログラム開催！

　Over the past two days the students participated in a program called "Global Summer Lesson ~ Power in ME ~" by Tomo no kai. This is an event in which many foreigners come to the school and do various activities with the students. These activities include vocabulary building exercises, interviews, discussions about global issues, fieldwork in Osu where they have to complete certain goals and a presentation about cultural differences. Through these activities, the students were able to put the skills they have been learning in classes into practice. Despite the difficult topics, the students were able to communicate very well, gained a lot from this event and had a great time! We are glad they had this great opportunity to practice their English while learning about other cultures and hope it motivates them to try even harder in the future!

　7月22日（火）～23日（水）の二日間に渡って、国際コースの生徒が「グローバルサマーレッスン～Power in ME～」というプログラムに参加しました。このイベントは、世界中から集まった留学生とのコミュニケーションを通じて生徒の共生社会で生きる力を育てるプログラムで、株式会社トモノカイによって運営されています。今回のイベントでは8名の留学生が中京高校を訪れ、国際コース生約40名と一緒にインタビュー活動やグローバル課題についてのディスカッションを行ったり、大須へフィールドワークに出かけて与えられたミッションをこなしたり、文化の違いについてのプレゼンテーションを行ったりしました。扱うトピックには難しいものもありましたが、生徒たちは一生懸命自分の意見を伝えようと努力し、留学生や国際コースの仲間と楽しみながらたくさんの学びを得ることができました。今回のプログラムを通して異文化について学びながら普段の授業で磨いている英語力を実践できる貴重な経験ができたので、今後さらに意欲的に英語を勉強して様々なことに挑戦していってもらいたいです！
