【国際コース】国際コース1年生、JICA中部(なごや地球ひろば)　訪問

On January 17th, the first-grade international course students visited JICA near Nagoya Station. The goal of this trip was to learn about JICA and its activities. The visit began with a presentation explaining JICA's mission and the objectives of its work. Following the presentation, the students received a guided tour of the facility, during which they learned about the areas where JICA is active and gained insights into the SDGs. They also had the opportunity to see how various countries are progressing toward achieving the SDGs.

Finally, the students attended a presentation by someone who shared their personal experiences of being dispatched to other countries for work with JICA. The students enjoyed their visit and gained valuable information. Through experiences like this, we hope the students will develop a deeper interest in the world around them.

1月17日(金)、国際コース1年生がJICA中部（なごや地球ひろば）の訪問研修を行いました。訪問研修では、最初にJICAの事業についての概要説明や開発途上国が直面している課題などについての説明を受けたあと、「地球案内人」と呼ばれるスタッフの方からなごや地球ひろばの体験ツアーに連れていってもらい、施設に施された地球に優しい工夫について学んだり、展示物を実際に触ったりしながら実践的な学びを深めました。また、SDGsの内容や各国における現在の目標達成状況についても知ることができました。最後は、JICA海外協力隊としてブラジルで任務にあたった方から現地での話を聞き、国際協力の実際の様子について学びました。今回の研修を通して開発途上国の現状や、地球が抱える課題、国際協力の実情について学ぶだけでなく、地球に生きる私達にできることは何かについて考える良い機会になりました。
