【国際コース】国際コース2年生、カナダ語学研修事後報告会を実施！

　1月29日（水）の午後、2年生の国際コース生徒による「カナダ語学研修事後報告会」が行われました。国際コースでは、毎年2年生の2学期に語学研修を実施しており、今年度の2年生も11月初旬から12月下旬まで、カナダのバンクーバーでホームステイをしながら語学学校に通い、英語力を磨いてきました。この事後報告会は、カナダでの自分の経験や学びをスライドにまとめ、クラスメイトや保護者、教員などに英語で発表するというもので、生徒たちはカナダで受けたカルチャーショックや、多文化社会で経験したこと、現地で挑戦したことなど、様々なトピックについて各々の切り口でプレゼンテーションを行いました。

　今回の報告会には多くの保護者の方も参加し、生徒たちのプレゼンテーションを見守りました。参観した保護者の方からは、「子どもたちのカナダでの経験が聞けてとても楽しかった」、「1年生の時に比べると、英語力だけでなく、表現力やスライドもレベルアップしているのを感じた」などの感想が寄せられ、研修の成果を実感していただくことができました。どの生徒も堂々と自分の経験を話せており、この研修を通して大きく成長し、自信をつけて帰ってきたことをとても嬉しく思います。

　平日にもかかわらず集まって下さった保護者の方、そして忙しい学校生活の中で準備と練習に励み、素晴らしいプレゼンテーションを通して自分の経験を共有してくれた2年生国際コースの皆さんに心から感謝します。

　The students in 2J from the International Course recently completed their study tour and homestay in Vancouver, Canada. On January 29th they shared their experiences with their classmates, parents, and visiting teachers. Their presentations were divided into two sections, about their experiences in Canada and answering one of the following questions:

• Did you experience any culture shock? Talk about it.
• What was your biggest challenge in Canada?
• What was a multicultural experience you had in Canada?
• What was a positive experience you had in Canada?
• What did you learn during your individual field work?

　The students' parents were invited and could hear about their experiences and challenges. The students practiced a lot and gave excellent presentations with many slides and stories. You could see an improvement in English fluency, presentation skills, and confidence from their time in Canada. We'd like to thank the parents for coming and 2J for sharing about their exciting experiences in Canada.
