【国際コース】グローバルサマーレッスン～Power in ME～、開催！

On Tuesday the 22nd of July and Wednesday the 23rd of July 1J, the International Course students and 16 students from various courses and grades took part in a 2-day exciting cultural English international exchange. The event was very international and extremely active. 11 International students studying at universities in and around Nagoya came to our school. The students came from all over the world, India, Bangladesh, and more. Students all worked in small groups understanding each other's cultures, backgrounds and experiences. They worked on presentations, discussions, world cultures and problems, and learning together all in English. All the Chukyo students said it was an amazing experience. I was especially happy when the lead teacher and a number of international students said- "Wow, Chukyo students are so great." "Your students can communicate so well" And so on...

Chukyo to the World 2025

7月22日（火）～23日（水）の二日間に渡り、「グローバルサマーレッスン～Power in ME～」というプログラムが開催されました！このイベントは、様々な国出身の留学生と共に国際的な視点を養うもので、株式会社トモノカイの運営のもと、国際コース創立以来毎年行われています。今年からは他コースへもその枠を広げ、国際コース1年生36人に加え他コースの1,2年生から16名の希望者が参加しました！また、インド、バングラデシュ、インドネシアなどの国々から日本の様々な大学に留学している11名の皆さんがバディとして参加してくれました。グループワークを中心に、フィールドワークやプレゼンテーションなど豊富なアクティビティを通して、本校生徒も留学生の皆さんもお互いの文化について理解を深めつつ、様々な課題解決活動に主体的に取り組んでいました！多様性に配慮した温泉とはどのようなものかについて英語で話し合い、グループ別にポスタ―を作成するアクティビティでは、昨今進化のとまらないAIを活用した銭湯の提案もありました。

このプログラムでは、英語コミュニケーション力はもちろん、非ネイティブスピーカーであり様々な文化背景を持つ留学生の皆さんと、共生社会でしなやかに活きる力を共に育むことが第一の目的となっています。2日間、様々な課題に真剣に取り組み、それを乗り越えた皆さんの達成感溢れた笑顔に、その目的が十分達成されたことが表れていました！

これからも世界へはばたけ、中京生！
